Paul’s experience includes over 30 years of agency work on retail, entertainment, manufacturing and financial accounts. His perspective comes from a career that includes work in all facets of the agency business. This diverse background has helped hone Paul’s skill at helping clients clearly define their marketing challenges and in crafting impactful, solution-based plans. Paul founded PMM in 2006 and in that time has grown the firm to a client roster of over 40 accounts. Paul is a magna cum laude graduate of California State University, Fresno, or his preferred reference, Fresno State.
Alyson is a seasoned advertising and marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in advertising agency account service and media. She has developed, supervised and implemented numerous advertising and marketing campaigns and programs in the fast food, commodity board, retail and home improvement categories. Alyson’s background includes five years’ experience in the financial field with Citibank. Alyson is a graduate of Fresno State University.
Kathryn brings the agency over 30 years of experience in marketing, project management, sales and training management, public relations, event planning with public, private and nonprofit corporations. She is responsible for the administrative functions of the agency, as well as holding down key account management duties. She is a graduate of California State University, Fresno.
Kurt joined Paul McDougal Marketing in 2009, bringing a wealth of art knowledge and design experience to his role as senior art director. He was a successful graphic designer in the pre-computer era and kept pace with his industry’s digital transformation, placing him on the leading edge of the latest advances and technologies. Along the way, Kurt has garnered numerous awards from the advertising and graphic arts communities in recognition of his talent for creating high-impact artwork.
Kurt is well-known and respected in the Central California marketing community, having spent nearly 28 years at a large regional advertising/marketing agency before joining Paul McDougal Marketing. Today, he serves clients in a wide range of industries from local businesses to national chains, providing such capabilities as: logo, print, outdoor and web design; multimedia production; photo editing and more.
Kurt’s educational background includes training at the Art Center College of Design and a degree in Commercial Art from Los Angeles Trade Technical College.
Julisa is an assistant account executive for numerous agency accounts. Her responsibilities include a wide range of account service functions including client contact, social media content development, page management, event planning and project management. Julisa is fluent in Spanish and is a graduate of Fresno State University.
Stephen has many years of experience as a marketing and sales executive with Excelerate Digital and Excelerate Auto agencies, along with the McClatchy and Scripps media companies. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley, Stephen is a pioneer in the field of digital media, as he launched websites for several media companies back in the mid-90s. Over the years, he has successfully innovated with business, content, and marketing models for digital media, and worked with countless businesses to aid in achieving their marketing goals. He grew up on the Central Coast of California, is the father of six and has lived in the Central Valley since 2003.
With over 30 years of marketing and advertising experience, Shane has worked with some of the largest media and advertising companies in the country—including Excelerate Digital and Excelerate Auto agencies, McClatchy, Stephens Media, and Freedom Communications. With a passion for digital advertising trends, tactics and technologies, Shane is a true professional at helping to keep his clients businesses ahead of the competition and on the cutting edge of digital marketing strategies. Shane grew up in Orange County, California and has called the Central Valley home since 2007.
Julie Phillips Randles has more than 20 years of experience as a professional copywriter, editor, journalist and public relations pro. After working for several years as a journalist, editor and marketing manager for a leading national newspaper chain, Julie began her own marketing and communications business. In the course of operating this firm, Julie was able to blend her writing skills with clients’ needs for communications consulting and public relations expertise. Over the years, Julie has written for nearly every publication type and communications vehicle including: national magazines, websites, press releases, brochures, direct mail, social media, print advertising and broadcast media. She prides herself on her ability to quickly understand clients’ communications and copy needs, to research relevant industries and topics, to quickly produce publishable copy and to then market that copy to the appropriate audiences. Her contacts in the media and her work as a professional journalist mean that Julie knows how to deliver concisely written copy that will earn consideration from editors. Julie has additional experience as a news writing and editing instructor at a state university. She has a bachelor’s degree in news-editorial journalism and master’s in mass communication.
With over 30 years of marketing and marketing research experience, Jim serves as our webmaster and custom programming specialist. His areas of expertise include marketing & advertising strategy, research, and web development.
